The duration of a standard discovery flight varies between 10 and 15 minutes over 700 meters of altitude difference.
For those who want to extend their flight time, the paragliding tour package is ideal. Azur Parapente offers you the opportunity to fly like a bird over the region for up to 40 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
Come fly with friends or family, we can organize up to three takeoffs at the same time thanks to our team of qualified instructors.
*Accessible to everyone from 20 to 80 kg (45 to 175 lb), and up to 95 kg (210 lb) for athletic individuals willing to run with us during takeoff.

The first concerns aerological conditions. When temperatures are too high, flights become less interesting because it's difficult to gain altitude, and they can even become dangerous. Paragliding depends on air movements in the atmosphere, and the study of these movements—called aerology—is essential to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers.
The second, more practical reason is specific to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. A paragliding flight with Azur Parapente ends with a landing on one of the most beautiful beaches on the French Riviera: Golfe Bleu Beach. It's stunning year-round, but packed with tourists in summer. For safety reasons, the beach becomes inaccessible for paragliding activities. You can't imagine landing among beach umbrellas and sandcastles, can you? It would be a shame to lose such a spectacular landing area!

Where are the take-off located?
We have two takeoff sites located on the heights of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Monaco, each with a vertical drop of 700 meters. The choice of site for your flight will be based on weather conditions and decided at the last minute:
Mont Gros in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, located between Monaco and Menton, offers a spectacular panorama of the Mediterranean.
The Lai Barrai takeoff area, slightly further west of Mont Gros, is located opposite the splendid city of Monte Carlo.
Landing is on one of the most beautiful and famous beaches on the French Riviera: Golfe Bleu Beach in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. This pebble beach stretches for 800 meters, is accessible via a footpath, and is located near the train station.
This environment makes this location one of the 10 best paragliding sites in Europe, particularly appreciated for its exceptional flying conditions in winter.

How does a tandem paragliding fly with Azur Parapente work?
We'll take care of you from start to finish, from your arrival at the meeting point to your return. Your activity will last approximately 1.5 hours in total. Follow all the steps:
FROM CHECK-IN
From the meeting point, we'll take you to one of the launch sites in our vehicle. During the approximately 20-minute journey, we'll get to know each other and the team will answer your questions.

When you arrive at takeoff, you will be equipped with a harness and a helmet!
Then your instructor will prepare and check the equipment, you will receive instructions for take-off.

IN TWO SIMPLE STEPS
A few steps with your instructor and the crew will take flight into the skies of the Côte d'Azur. Enjoy a unique 360° experience immersed between the sea and the mountains, with Monaco beneath your feet. You'll feel the freedom of soaring through the sky like a bird, with no noise, just the wind in your face.

BACK TO REALITY
Landing on the beach at Golf Bleu. Once on land, your instructor will take the time to discuss the experience you've just shared. This is an essential moment to gently conclude this exceptional and emotional experience. This will also be the time to review and collect your photos and videos.
Together we will return to the initial meeting point, we will have spent around 1.5 hours together.
