We operate between October and the end of April, when the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin paragliding site is open. From autumn to spring, the flying conditions are simply remarkable. This is why Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is recognized as one of the 10 most beautiful paragliding sites in Europe. Come fly in winter: it is during this period from December to March that we carry out the most magnificent flights in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The aerological conditions are exceptional, offering spectacular flights with the snow-capped peaks of the Mercantour Mountains as a backdrop and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea at our feet. With a bit of luck, you might even see Corsica on the horizon. Don't worry about the cold: our pilots continue to fly in shorts throughout the season, as winter is not very harsh on the Côte d'Azur. Get ready, the sky is waiting for you!

The Roquebrune Cap-Martin site is a little corner of paradise in Europe, where the sea and the mountains dance together beneath our feet between Monaco and Menton! And guess what? The only place we can land is on the fabulous Golfe Bleu beach. But be careful, during the summer, the beach becomes too popular! Too many towels and parasols to safely land our wings. That's why our flights are available from October to the end of April!

Azur Parapente is open from October to the end of April, and believe me, the conditions for gliding in Roquebrune Cap-Martin are simply magical! Don't be shy, come and take flight this winter! This is where the magic happens, with magnificent flights against a backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the Mercantour and, if you're lucky, a glimpse of Corsica looming on the horizon. Hold on tight, the sky awaits!

Generally, there is no minimum weight requirement for paragliding. However, we accept passengers from 20kg. Regarding the maximum weight. At our site in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, we welcome all passengers weighing up to 80kg, provided they are able to walk and run a distance of 10 to 15 meters for takeoff. For passengers between 80kg and 95kg, this requires more active participation from you during the run for takeoff, which is mainly aimed at people with adequate physical condition. Above 95kg, do not hesitate to contact us to discuss it. However, it is important to note that it will be impossible for us to guarantee that you will be able to carry out the activity, we will need suitable wind conditions to allow us to take off safely. The rules we have put in place stem from our experience on the site since 1996, as well as the layout of its take-off areas.

The meeting point is set near our vehicle, just across from the 'Cabbé' bus stop, above the magnificent Gulf of Blue Beach in Roquebrune Cap-Martin. Arrive a little early to give yourself time to park your car or enjoy a short walk from the station if you're coming by train. We'll greet you with a smile. And off we go, off to takeoff in our vehicle! After a short walk of 2 to 10 minutes, we'll be at the takeoff field. Your instructor will give you a briefing to explain what you'll have to do, a bit like a coach before a match! Don't panic, it's super simple! Note: unlike skydiving or bungee jumping, here, you don't "jump" into the void! Paragliding is like a glider that we take off together. Depending on the wind, a few steps of walking or a short run, and off we go! Example: Once you're properly equipped with a harness and hooked up, the pilot will ask you to walk forward. At first, you'll feel a slight resistance, but don't worry, it will decrease. This is when you'll run together and feel as light as a feather! It's takeoff! Your feet gently leave the ground, and the wing takes over. Once in the air, your instructor will comfortably seat you in the harness so you can enjoy the flight and immortalize this incredible moment with your camera! You won't feel like you're falling at any time! We need your participation, so stay standing and run a little bit to get our happy team off the ground. We'll run for about 30 meters maximum. After that, all that's left is to savor the flight! But shh, we're not revealing everything! Allow about 1.5 hours for this memorable activity.

It is advisable to wear sneakers or well-closed shoes to run and sprint without worry! Don't forget to dress according to the season plus a good windbreaker or a down jacket, and gloves in winter, it's best! Take something to cover yourself, even if it stays in our car, because at more than 1000 meters in the air, the temperature can do a real magic trick with the ground!

The flight duration depends on the chosen package! Discovery flight: After takeoff, the instructor will glide you to the Golf Bleu beach. This flight lasts between 10 and 15 minutes depending on the weather conditions. The aerial tour & The VIP flight: After taking off at 700 meters above sea level, the instructor will pilot the paraglider to reach the highest possible altitude and extend the flight between Menton and Monaco. He will optimize the experience to offer as extensive an aerial tour as possible, taking into account the weather conditions of the day, for a duration of up to 40 minutes. We will fly together like birds without an engine, that's why we give a time range to our flights, that's the magic of paragliding. The weather conditions change throughout the day, making each flight unique and never boring. For the total duration of the activity, allow approximately 1h30, from our meeting until the return to the meeting point. Hold on tight, it's going to be sensational!

There's no age limit for paragliding! If a young adventurer weighing at least 20 kg wants to take flight, we're happy to give them wings. As for the maximum age, as long as you can walk and trot like a happy kangaroo, the sky is yours in ideal conditions. Ready to glide!

At Azur Parapente, we have a team of seven professional instructors, working in groups of three simultaneously. This allows us to conduct three takeoffs simultaneously, giving you the opportunity to experience this activity as a group. Being able to fly side by side and get so close, almost touching, in the air when the weather conditions allow is a unique experience. Sharing this experience with others is even more intense and memorable.

Surprisingly, in paragliding mode, you say goodbye to vertigo! No feet on the ground, just a comfortable seat in the air. So, if you're afraid of heights, don't hesitate to take flight! You won't feel it during takeoff or in flight!

If you're a little sensitive to motion, don't panic! Paragliding can sometimes cause a little discomfort. But rest assured, your instructor is there for your comfort. Discuss your sensitivity before takeoff and they'll ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable flight experience. And for those who are more sensitive, medication is available to help you fully enjoy your flight.

Every day, we scan the weather forecast like budding detectives. The day before your big departure, if we feel the skies won't be kind to your flight, we prefer to cancel and reschedule for you in complete safety and comfort. Because we want your trip to be a real pleasure, not a headache!
