After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the necessary information, flight details, and your provisional invoice. You can pay in advance by bank transfer, or on the day of your flight by card or cash.

Two days before your flight, you'll receive a reminder email with your scheduled time. The evening before, around 6:00 PM, we'll call you to confirm the flight based on weather conditions.

If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule. Please note that any appointment not canceled 48 hours in advance will be charged, unless we're able to fill your slot with another customer.

We operate from October through the end of April, when the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin paragliding site is open. From autumn to spring, the flying conditions are simply remarkable. This is why Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is recognized as one of the 10 most beautiful paragliding sites in Europe.

Come fly in winter: it's during this period, from December to March, that we experience the most magnificent flights in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The weather conditions are exceptional, offering spectacular flights with the snow-capped peaks of the Mercantour mountains as a backdrop and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea beneath us. With a bit of luck, you might even spot Corsica on the horizon.

No worries about the cold: our pilots continue flying in shorts all season long, as winter remains mild on the French Riviera.

Get ready—the sky's the limit!

The Roquebrune-Cap-Martin site is a little corner of paradise in Europe, where sea and mountains dance together beneath our feet between Monaco and Menton! And guess what? The only place we can land is on the fabulous Golfe Bleu beach. But here's the catch: during summer, the beach becomes too crowded! Too many towels and parasols to land safely. That's why our flights are only available from October through the end of April!

Azur Parapente operates from October through the end of April, and believe me, the conditions for paragliding in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin are simply magical! Don't hesitate—come take to the skies this winter! This is when the magic happens, with breathtaking flights against the backdrop of the snow-capped Mercantour peaks and, if you're lucky, a glimpse of Corsica on the horizon. Hold on tight—the sky awaits!

Generally, there is no minimum weight requirement for paragliding. However, we accept passengers weighing 20 kg or more. Regarding the maximum weight, at our Roquebrune-Cap-Martin site, we welcome all passengers up to 80 kg, provided they are able to walk and run 10 to 15 meters for takeoff.

For passengers between 80 kg and 95 kg, more active participation is required during the run-up, making this activity suitable primarily for individuals in good physical condition.

If you weigh over 95 kg, please contact us to discuss your options. However, please note that we cannot guarantee participation in the activity; we require suitable wind conditions for a safe takeoff.

The guidelines we have established are based on our experience at the site since 1996, as well as the layout of its takeoff areas.

The meeting point is at our vehicle, right across from the 'Cabbé' bus stop, overlooking the beautiful Golfe Bleu beach in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Arrive a little early to give yourself time to park or enjoy a short walk from the train station if you're coming by train. We'll greet you with a smile, then head to the launch site in our vehicle!

After a short walk of 2 to 10 minutes, we'll reach one of the launch sites. Your instructor will give you a briefing to explain what you'll need to do—like a coach before a match! Don't worry, it's super easy!

Important note: Unlike skydiving or bungee jumping, we don't "jump" into the void! Paragliding is an aerial sport supervised by qualified instructors; it's like a glider that we take off in together. Depending on the wind, a few steps or a short run, and off we go!

Here's how it works:

Once you're properly equipped with a harness and secured, the pilot will ask you to walk forward. At first, you'll feel slight resistance, but don't worry—it will lessen. That's when you'll run together and feel as light as a feather! That's takeoff! Your feet gently leave the ground, and the wing takes over.

Your active participation during takeoff and landing is essential. Adequate physical fitness will allow you to fully enjoy this activity safely.

Once airborne, your instructor will help you get comfortable in the harness so you can enjoy the flight and capture this incredible moment with your camera! You won't feel like you're falling at any point!

We need your participation, so stay upright and run with us for about thirty meters maximum. After that, all that's left is to enjoy the flight! But shh—we won't reveal everything!

Allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for this memorable experience.

It's essential to wear sneakers or closed-toe shoes so you can run and sprint comfortably during takeoff! Dress for the season and bring a windbreaker or down jacket, sunglasses, and gloves in winter—they're essential! Pack something warm, even if it stays in the car, because at over 1,000 meters in the air, the temperature can change dramatically compared to ground level!

 The flight duration depends on the package chosen! 

Discovery Flight : 

After takeoff, the instructor will glide you down to the Golf Bleu beach. This flight lasts between 10 and 15 minutes depending on the weather conditions. 

Cruise Flight & VIP Cruse Flight : 

After taking off at 700 meters above sea level, the instructor will pilot the paraglider to reach the highest possible altitude and extend the flight between Menton and Monaco. 

They will optimize the experience to offer the most expansive paragliding tour possible, taking into account the day's weather conditions, for a duration of up to 40 minutes. 

We will fly together like birds without an engine, which is why we give a time range for our flights, this is the magic of paragliding. Weather conditions change throughout the day, making each flight unique and never boring. For the total activity, allow approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, from our meeting until your return to the meeting point.

 Hold on tight, it's going to be sensational!  

There's no age limit for paragliding! If a young adventurer weighing at least 20 kg wants to take to the skies, we'll give them wings without any problem. As for the maximum age, as long as you can walk and trot like a happy kangaroo, the sky's the limit in ideal conditions. Ready to soar!

At Azur Parapente, we have a team of seven professional instructors who work in groups of three simultaneously. This allows us to propose three takeoffs at the same time, giving you the opportunity to experience this activity as a group. Flying side-by-side and getting so close you can almost touch in the air when weather conditions permit is a truly unique experience. Sharing this moment with others makes it even more intense and memorable.

Surprisingly, paragliding eliminates vertigo! No feet on the ground, just a comfortable seat in the air. So, if you're afraid of heights, don't hesitate to take flight! You won't feel it at takeoff or in flight!

If you're prone to motion sickness, don't worry! Paragliding can sometimes cause a slight feeling of unease. But rest assured, your instructor is there to ensure your comfort. Tell them about your sensitivity before takeoff, and they'll make sure you have a smooth and enjoyable flight. And for those who are more sensitive, medication is available to help you fully enjoy your flight.

Pregnant women are advised to avoid paragliding, even in the absence of any apparent collisions or risks. We recommend they wait and choose the right time to fly together with complete peace of mind.

When you book a flight, be careful! A surprise storm could spoil the fun and cancel your getaway, even though there's nothing we can do about it! Every day, we scrutinize the weather forecast like amateur detectives. The day before your big departure, if we feel the weather won't be kind to your flight, we prefer to cancel and reschedule for you in complete safety and comfort. Because we want your trip to be a real pleasure, not a headache!

Each year, we offer a limited number of gift vouchers to ensure optimal service for all our customers. This quota is determined based on instructor availability and the necessary permits for opening the Mont Gros flying site. Therefore, we encourage you to book your flight as soon as possible and not wait until your voucher expires to schedule your appointment.

Tandem paragliding, like any sporting activity, involves certain risks and requires your active participation during takeoff and landing. Adequate physical fitness will allow you to fully enjoy this experience safely.

For nearly 30 years, Azur Parapente has been committed to providing safe instruction for our participants. Our instructors are members and signatories of the FFVL (French Free Flight Federation) and the National Union of Free Flight Instructors' quality charter, dedicated to excellence. They undergo continuous training and regularly practice paragliding at the highest level to maintain and refine their skills, guaranteeing professional, safe instruction that meets the most demanding standards.

We use recent equipment from leading brands, and each instructor is equipped with a reserve parachute for the crew. We fly at one of the most beautiful paragliding sites in Europe, perfectly suited for tandem paragliding flights.

It is your responsibility to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor sports, including trail running or hiking shoes that allow you to run and protect your feet upon landing. We also advise against carrying fragile valuables or items that could be lost during the activity.

No, unlike skydiving, we do not require a medical certificate. However, your active participation during takeoff and landing is essential. This activity is accessible to most people; you must be able to walk and run a few meters with your instructor. This will allow you to fully enjoy the experience safely. It is also important to provide your accurate weight as a passenger.
