Azur Parapente offers several tandem paragliding flight options. Located in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, we offer you the opportunity to fly over the French Riviera, from Menton to Nice via Monaco.
Our flight packages are suitable for everyone*: whether you're new to paragliding or already have some flying experience. They're also ideal for pilots looking to improve their technique safely, thanks to the experience of our instructors.
The duration of a standard discovery flight varies between 10 and 15 minutes over 700 meters of altitude difference.
For those who want to extend their flight time, the paragliding tour package is ideal. Azur Parapente offers you the opportunity to fly like a bird over the region for up to 40 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
Come fly with friends or family, we can organize up to three takeoffs at the same time thanks to our team of qualified instructors.

What is the best season for paragliding in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin?
Azur Parapente welcomes you for seven months, from October to the end of April, when conditions for paragliding in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin are simply magical. This site is particularly renowned for its exceptional winter climate, earning it a place among the 10 most beautiful paragliding destinations in Europe—a well-deserved honour!

There are two main safety reasons why paragliding isn’t available in summer in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.
The first concerns the weather conditions. When temperatures are too high, flights are less enjoyable because it is difficult to gain altitude, and they can even become dangerous. Paragliding depends on air movements in the atmosphere, and studying these movements, known as aerology, is essential to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers.
The second, more practical reason applies specifically to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. A paragliding flight with Azur Parapente ends with a landing on one of the most beautiful beaches on the French Riviera: Golfe Bleu beach. It’s beautiful all year round, but crowded with tourists in summer. For safety reasons, paragliding flights are therefore not permitted at the beach. You wouldn’t want to land in the middle of beach umbrellas and sandcastles, would you? It would be a shame to lose such a spectacular landing spot!

Where are the take-off and landing sites?
We have two launch sites in the hills above Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Monaco, each with a 700-metre elevation drop. The site for your flight will depend on the weather conditions and will be decided at the last minute:
- Mont Gros in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, between Monaco and Menton, offers spectacular views over the Mediterranean.
- The take-off area Lai Barrai, slightly west of Mont Gros, faces the splendid city of Monte-Carlo.
You’ll land on one of the Côte d’Azur’s most beautiful and famous beaches: Golfe Bleu beach in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. This pebble beach stretches for 800 metres, is accessible via a footpath and is close to the train station.
This setting makes it one of the 10 best paragliding sites in Europe, especially popular for its exceptional flying conditions in winter.
